Bio
Gesi Schilling is a photographer and photo editor based in South Florida. Her work regularly appears in various publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, Vogue, and The Miami Herald, where she began her career in photojournalism in 2010. She has documented more than two-hundred weddings, and a decade of the O, Miami Poetry Festival. In 2020, she created The Sunny Project, a photography-based fundraising platform that provided funds to organizations supporting vulnerable populations during the pandemic. Most recently, Gesi created and edited Literally Everyone's Invited, a photography and poetry anthology of South Florida, as well as Ventanitas: A Window into Miami's Coffee Culture. She currently lives with her family in Riverland, Florida.
